Sport Centers

Niberma installs, distributes and sells different systems for sport centers with seven-a-side football, handball, volleyball, badminton, etc. Synthetic or flat wooden surfaces can be used; they are non-abrasive and smooth. Besides, they need to fulfill the regulation UNE-EN 14904:2007  “surfaces for sportive areas and indoor multisport floors”. Nowadays in Spain the whole legislation on sports is ruled by the Superior Council of Sports and more specifically NIDE NORMS. Among the multple options offered by Niberma products we have:

– All the systems for multisport fields commercialized by Niberma have gone through the most demanding security regulations that guarantee the maximum durability.

There is a series of regulations that fix the guidelines for constructive systems for the construction of sportive fields. Nowadays in Spain the Superior Council of Sports through NIDE NORMS describes the mandatory regulations for handball, seven a side football and badminton.

HANDBALL REGULATIONS

Field Size

The handball field is a rectangle of 40 by 20 meters. All the lines are 5cm wide except the goal lines that are 8cm.

Surface:

Synthetic or flat wooden surfaces can be used for handball, they can be fix or detachable but the rigid surfaces are not recommended.

 

BASKETBALL REGULATIONS

Field Size:

The basketball field is a rectangle of 28 by 15 meters; these are standard measurements that are valid for national and international competitions.

Surface:

Synthetic or flat wooden surfaces can be used for basketball likewise handball rigid surfaces are not recommended. Nowadays, it is mandatory to use wooden surfaces for FIBA and FEB level competitions, for lesser level competitions synthetic surfaces can be used.

Synthetic or wooden surfaces include the field and the security sides being the total area of at least 31,10 by 19,10 meters.

It is paramount that the materials used comply with the agreements of UNE-EN 14904:2007   “surfaces for sportive areas and indoor multisport floors”

 

MINI-BASKET REGULATIONS

Field Size:

The measures for mini-basket are the same ones as for basketball, this is:  28 by 15 meters. Other sizes are also permitted by the Spanish Federation of Basketball:  28 mts x 15 mts; 26 mts x 14 mts; 24 mts x 13 mts; 22 mts x 12 mts y 20 mts & 11 mts.

Surface:

All the same as for basketball. Regulations can be checked by NIDE NORMS of  Superior Council of Sports

 

FIVE-A-SIDE FOOTBALL REGULATIONS

Field Size:

The dimensions of a field can vary being the length of 42m maximum and at least 25m and the width 25m max and at least 16m. This dimensions vary for international competitions as follows:

It is worth bearing  in mind that the side lines need to be superior to the goal ones. Nowadays, high-level five-a-side football is played in a 40 by 20 meters field and so 99% of the sports facilities have these measures to coincide with the ones in handball.

Surface:

Synthetic or flat wooden surfaces can be used for five-a-side football. Rigid floors are not recommended. The surfaces include the field and the security sides that are normally 2 meters wide. It is paramount that any surface used for this matter is smooth, non-abrasive and even, and complies with the agreements of UNE-EN 14904:2007

 

VOLLEYBALL REGULATIONS

Field Size:

It is a rectangle of 18 by 9 meters for national and international competitions.There are different dimensions for other modalities of mini-volley in school ages. Regulations can be checked by NIDE NORMS of  Superior Council of Sports

Surface:

For any clarification on apt surfaces, UNE-EN 14904:2007   “surfaces for sportive areas and indoor multisport floors” can be consulted.

 

BADMINTON REGULATIONS

Field Size:

The badminton field has an area of 13,40 by 5,18 meters for individuals and 13,40 by 6,10 meters for doubles.

Surface:

The surface must be even, horizontal, smooth and free of obstacles. It is worth taking into consideration that anti-slippery or too sticky surfaces are not advisable for badminton as they can cause injuries and hinder movements in the game. All the surfaces need to comply with the agreements of UNE-EN 14904:2007   “surfaces for sportive areas and indoor multisport floors” where it is described the series of characteristic for synthetic or wooden floors.
